What’s New:
From Art Basel to Sephora Zurich
& Life Lately
A personal roundup of an inspiring month shaped by events, encounters, and new perspectives inc. Dagsmejan, Cada, Sephora Zurich, Zurich Art Weekend and Art Basel.
My dear Muses,
I couldn’t not write this blog post because it felt like everything I’ve been living, seeing and absorbing these past weeks needed a place to land.
Being a Maximalista, as you know me, I share my love and passion across many worlds. I don’t fit neatly into one lane. I love art. I love learning. I love brands, beauty, ideas, people, moments. I love whatever life puts in front of me, and I tend to say yes to too much because it all feels alive to me in different ways.
This month (throughout May to June) made me reflect deeply on what it means to be a multi-passionate modern woman. How we move through different spaces, interests and inspirations, all at once, without needing to choose just one identity. And how that can feel both like a gift and like a kind of overwhelm at the same time.
And maybe that is the real thread running through it all. Instead of choosing less, have the courage to hold more. To let life move through us in its many forms, while still staying anchored in ourselves. Because being multi-passionate is not a contradiction to clarity. This kind of clarity that unfolds in layers, not lines.
Here is my roundup of an inspiring month filled with events, encounters, and new perspectives that left a lasting impression on me this month.

Swiss success story Dagsmejan is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
21 May 2026
The Swiss brand Dagsmejan celebrated its 10th anniversary with a breakfast at its office in the heart of Zurich. It was an inspiring event that highlighted how far the conversation around sleep has evolved over the past decade. Beyond showcasing the brand’s impressive journey of innovation and success, the event explored the growing connection between sleep, recovery and performance, topics that are becoming increasingly relevant in our world right now.
One of the highlights was the introduction of the new Night Renew collection, featuring the groundbreaking NATTCOLLAGEN™ technology, which represents a fascinating innovation in sleepwear.
Basically, this line introduces skincare you can sleep in. Infused Collagen Peptides woven into the fabric help support skin hydration and plumping while you sleep.
It’s an example of how the future of wellness is becoming increasingly integrated, with sleep, recovery, performance, and skincare working together.

Cada Circle Conference Zurich
11 June 2026
It was an honour to attend this year’s Cada Circle, an exclusive, invitation-only conference and networking event focused on reproductive medicine.
While the event is mainly designed for gynaecologists, fertility specialists, and healthcare decision-makers, I was thrilled to be part of it and discover so much on the topics such as declining sperm quality, global fertility crises and the latest treatments.
The event brought together an impressive group of speakers, including Dr Noemie Lautenbach, who spoke about Male Fertility, and Prof. Samir Hamamah, Chief Physician for Reproductive Biology at CHU Montpellier and one of Europe’s leading specialists in reproductive medicine, who shared new perspectives on global fertility and presented up-to-date data.
For me, it was an incredibly insightful exchange about the future of fertility, society and medical innovation.
Sephora Studio Zurich Store Opening
12 June 2026
The Zürcher Bahnhofstrasse has a new beauty address! Sephora opened its new concept store at one of the country’s most iconic shopping destinations – Sephora Studio. With this new location, Sephora is creating a central hub for Zurich’s growing beauty community and continues its consistent, strategic expansion across Switzerland.
Sephora Studio represents a curated selection of brands including Aestura, Glowery, Yepoda, Summer Fridays, and Gisou, brands that are currently attracting global attention, particularly in the skincare and beauty space. The assortment is further complemented by Medicube, Biodance, and Anua. Together, these brands exemplify the continued rise of K-Beauty and bring some of the most in-demand innovations from Korea to Switzerland.
I personally loved this opening event. The vibe was really incredible, thanks to Sephora’s young team members and the brand’s PR agency. I really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and the warm, welcoming, and fresh energy that created even more hype around this well-known brand.

Zurich Art Weekend
12 June 2026
Being a retired artist myself, I always look forward to this time of year. Zurich Art Weekend transforms the city into a vibrant meeting place for artists, collectors, curators, museums, galleries and simply art lovers from around the world. There is a special energy in the air, one that reminds me of my own years in the art world and of the power art has to connect people.
My biggest highlight this year was the gallery openings on Rämistrasse. I have always loved this street because it offers such a unique concentration of art spaces.
Art Basel
16 June 2026
And finally, let me wrap up this month’s recap with one of the most important events of the year, not only for me, but for the global art world: Art Basel.
As a former artist, returning to Art Basel always feels a little like coming home. It is one of the few places where you can experience the pulse of the international art market, discover emerging talents, revisit established masters.
This year, I felt a noticeable shift. There seemed to be fewer video installations, fewer monumental sculptures, and more paintings and works created by women. The overall atmosphere felt different from previous editions, less focused on spectacle and more on substance.
Whether this reflects a broader cultural shift or simply my own evolving perspective, I left Art Basel feeling less overwhelmed and more connected.
My personal discovery this year was the Swedish artist Andreas Eriksson. His abstract paintings immediately stopped me in my tracks. His name has been well known for decades, yet for me it was a completely new encounter.
I am not often drawn to paintings in general. But there was something tense in his work, something almost atmospheric, like memory and landscape dissolving into one another. His brush work felt like a language. Absolutely loved it.
